The Bio of G. B. Miller

While working as a payroll clerk in state government back in 2006 (and with a little encouragement from friends & co-workers) G.B. decided to take up writing so as to make better use of his free time. In 2007, in a crisis of conscience, G.B. dove head long into the shallow water of chat rooms, so as to get the basic skills needed in order to write like he knew what he was talking about.

By the spring of 2008 (with a little encouragement from friends), G.B. packed his quill and parchment and moved over to the blog world, where he promptly created his first mainstream blog called Cedar's Mountain. In late 2013, he created a new and improved mainstream blog entitled Father Nature's Corner, and promptly turned his first one into a living archive.

Sadly, this new blog lasted until early 2017 and this too has been turned into an archival blog. He can now be found on his new Blogger blog,
I Have Stories! a stream-of-conscience blog with his writing adventures as the theme that ties all the posts together.

In the past 12 years, blogging has been extremely good to G.B., as he honed his writing skills to the point where he has had a modicum of success with his writing: two published short stories, two self-pubbed novellas, six self-published e-books (including two short story anthologies), his commercial debut novel, and a reissue of his commercial debut

When he's not creating written mayhem in the cyber world and real world, G.B. spends his free time screwing up people's paychecks and playing head games with the family.

If you want to get a different take on what he writes, please check out his short story trilogy.

A Taste Of Pain

The hotter the humiliation, the more sickening the payback.

Nikia, a demonic spirit escapee from Purgatory now residing above ground, is being blackmailed by Kevin to turn Keisha, the girl of his obsession, into the hottest playtoy of any male or female's wanton desires, so that he can ride to her rescue and make her beholden to him. A distress call sent out by Nikia's eldest prompts two archangels, Michael and Raphael, to answer the call. But can they arrive in time to save Nikia and Keisha from Kevin's lustful machinations? More importantly though, can a supreme demonic hellion from the bowels of Purgatory really turn her life around and do the right thing?

This novella, which was roughly six years in the making, is available on Smashwords and Amazon, and I couldn't be more happier with the end result. As usual, the cover was expertly done by Kelly Abell at Select-O-Grafix, and the formatting was done by Maureen Cutajar at Go Published.

To read the full synopsis, because when you query, you need a good synopsis, click on the link here. Please note that the link will take you directly to my adult blog.

And now available in print! Buy it directly from Amazon or directly from me.

  1. Hiya G! Hope all is well with you. Had to look something up on my old blog so thought I'd stop buy and say hey.

    1. Hey dude! How is everything? If you get this response or check back in, shoot me an e-mail. You'll find my addy on the right hand side of this.

  2. Whoops. Guess I'm a bit late, eh? Well, at least I have a valid excuse. A couple days after I wrote my last comment here my mother's COPD, dementia, etc. flared up bad enough where I had to place her permanently into a nursing home. For the next few months pretty much all my free time had been spent dealing with her, the nursing home, Medicaid, her doctors, etc. etc. etc. She did get better, but relapsed on Nov. 22 and passed away Nov 25, the day before Thanksgiving.

If I were still blogging, I'd write my most heartstring-tuggingest post about it.

After her cremation (she's on my bookcase at the moment), I noticed I'd been dizzy and having chest pains. So, another drama immediately starts. Turns out I have incipient COPD myself - so much for me quitting smoking 10 months ago - and a slight heart defect. But it all looks relatively minor at this point so I'm just going on with my life.

Hopefully, your life has been more boring than mine.

    1. Dude, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much your mother meant to you over the years. When you get a free moment, please drop me a line at my Hotmail addy so we can chat/catch up on things.

  3. Hey hey! 6 years in the making? Well, cheers! Sounds like a great story, and that's a killer cover. That woman looks like she wants to eat my soul... in the best way possible.

I'll check out your adult blog once I get permission and/or adult supervision from my legal guardian.

  4. Thanks. I may get it updated next year. I found a couple other graphic design websites that look very promising (one from the formatter I use and another from Facebook).

Please feel free to say something about my book. All I ask is that you keep it clean.
